HwilsonPR is a Public Relations Consulting Firm started in 2008 by Heidi Wilson. Heidi is an accomplished Research Analyst and Public Relations Practitioner with a background in Research, Public Relations, Marketing and Media. She has a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Mass Communications and Master of Science Degree in Strategic Public Relations.
She began her career as an Assignment Editor and Producer for WRIC 8 News in Richmond, Virginia. During her tenure at TV8, many of her articles were published in local magazines such as V Magazine for Women and The Village Newspaper.
Heidi has worked in Corporate Communications for Capital One and has volunteered as a Public Relations Assistant for Virginia Tourism Corporation and Special Olympics of Virginia where she assisted in marketing strategies and planning events.
As owner of HwilsonPR she works with many small businesses, corporations, non profit organizations and entrepreneurs to help them reach their goals and objectives, whether it be to create a buzz, raise their profile or simply write their organizational documents.
